Facilities

North Atlanta Youth Rowing (NAR) is currently working on establishing an agreement to begin operations, where we will have state-of-the-art facilities to support our athletes’ training and development. Our facilities include:

1. Fleet: Our fleet will include all size boats including 1x, 2x/-, 4x/-, and 8+. Our amount of rowing shells, oars, and equipment will reflect the size and direction of the program.
2. Dock: Adjacent to the boathouse, our dock provides easy access to the water for launching and retrieving our rowing shells. It is equipped with ramps and floating platforms to accommodate athletes of all skill levels.
3. Indoor Training Area: At present time, we will be working with local vendors to establish share spaces to accommodate our off-water training needs.
4. Boat Storage: Our facility offers ample storage space for our fleet of rowing shells, ensuring that they are properly maintained and protected when not in use. Athletes have access to their assigned boats and equipment during scheduled practice times.
